The second sprint race of the season held at Miami was 19 laps long. The Miami sprint race was won by defending champion Max Verstappen followed by Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez.

1. Lando Norris and Lance Stroll
As the light signalled green, at turn 1 four cars smashed (or touched hardly) each other. It looked like the cars were almost parked for a moment.
This incident involved Lance Stroll, Lando Norris, Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton
Lance Stroll and Lando Norris had to retire from the car, while Fernando Alonso finished P17 just ahead of Kevin Magnussen, who received two 10-second penalties.
2. Daniel Ricciardo
After many not-so-good weekends, Daniel Ricciardo added the first point of the season for the driver championship.
Daniel started at P4 but passed Perez after turn 1, a few laps later Perez regained his position.
After that, Daniel defended P4 fabulously, from the driver Carlos Sainz in the red car (Ferrari).
VCarb team, previously AlphaTauri, enjoyed these points.
3. Kevin Magnussen
Kevin Magnussen defended quite aggressively for P8, which is the last points place for the sprint race, from Lewis Hamilton. Due to this, he received 10-second penalty two times for leaving the track and taking advantage.
This resulted in Nico Hulkenberg getting ahead easily and gaining points for the team. We have witnessed this kind of result from the Haas team a few times past the race weekends.
In the end, he finished P18 (last) after getting the 20-second penalty.
Even after having three DRS zones, overtaking at this track was much more difficult for everyone, we didn't see many overtakes in the sprint race session.
High temp and degrading may affect the main Grand Prix race. Last year, teams and drivers opted for single pit-stop.
We might see some configuration changes in the cars after the sprint race data for improvements in qualifying and main race event.
